December 3, 2008, Alamogordo, NM -- When "Horror In The Wind" Writer/Producer/ Director Max Mitchell announced Revision Studios will publish a new translation of the Bible in which God says gay is better than straight, Christians got angry.

We're posting it on our blog (www.princessdianabible.com) as fast as we can. This is a textbook case of how the Internet is viral. In one week we went round the world and got picked up by major sites like The Guardian in UK, Belief.net; and Pink News. I'm getting calls from all over the world.
Mitchell will adapt and direct the Princess Diana Bible as a two-part miniseries: The Gay Old Testament and The Gay New Testament. "There are 116 versions of the Bible. I don't see why we can't have one."
Diana Bible Made for under $53,000, sci fi comedy "Horror In The Wind (trailer)," has been banned by Allen Theaters of New Mexico. NBC nightly news recently reported that Allen Theaters refused to screen the locally produced comedy because it is too political. "Horror In The Wind" is about two bio-geneticists whose Formula 4708 reverses the whole world's sexual orientation.
Allen Theaters, the only Cineplex in Alamogordo where the film was shot, was asked by Weber to do a single late night screening to comply with Screen Actors Guild regulations. According to theater owner, Russell Allen, it is "too political." Alamogordo, famous for being the town where Christians burned the Harry Potter books, is referenced in the movie.
Allen Theaters screens extremely violent films. "They are offended by political comedy but have no problem with violence," said Mitchell. "Allen thinks that killing and murder is better than laughter. So much for family values." When NBC News showed up with a camera at Allen's Cineplex in Alamogordo, the manager refused to be interviewed on camera. Allen did not return phone calls made by NBC News reporter Katie Ryan.
"Horror In The Wind" is set in 2017 when Pat Robertson and James Dobson win the White House with a campaign theme of the "War on Sex." Robertson spreads an untested sex suppression formula throughout the world. To everyone's shock, Formula 4708 does not suppress sex drive but changes it. Within a week the entire world is gay. Eventually people prefer it and amend the constitution to ban heterosexual marriage.
"I got the idea for the Princess Diana Bible from 'Horror In The Wind'," says Mitchell. "After the world becomes gay, religious people create The Princess Diana Bible, which says that gay is right and straight is a sin. Then they burn all the King James Bibles." According to Mitchell, "There are scholars who say that like many priests, Jesus was gay. In Biblical times homosexuality was so commonplace, no one gave it a second thought. It was heterosexuality that was considered sinful."
One man posted this on the Princess Diana Bible Blog: ‘The Lord God reminds you of this that if anyone adds to his word God will add to him/her the plagues described in his word. And if anyone takes away from his word God will take his/her name out of the Book of Life.'

Prop 8 Protest: A Call to the LGBTQ Community, Friends, & Family
I’m sure all would agree that with the election of Barack Obama, this week has been one of amazing wins in the world of equality! Still, Tuesday night was a bitter-sweet celebration. We came together to witness the first black man who will become our president, yet watched in sadness as Florida, Arizona, Arkansas, and California all voted down equal rights for all citizens. Pundits and bloggers alike have put their focus on Proposition 8, trying hard to find an explanation for the anti-gay wins in the face of a huge swell of support for equality elsewhere. Some have blamed the voters, others blame religious groups, and even others blame the LGBTQ community for not being able to mobilize on a larger enough scale. And you know what? There is truth in each argument.
As a community, we have to admit to the fact that we are polarized in various ways. Honestly, I’m not sure what community isn’t and I believe that our polarization is proof to our humanity - we are no different than anyone else, regardless of color, creed, or sexual orientation. Still, our polarization has hindered us from mobilizing as one strong voice. We all come together in the month of June to celebrate Gay Pride, but few of us are even aware of why Gay Pride exists. Gay Pride is a celebration to commemorate the Stonewall Riots of 1969. Many say that the Gay Rights Movement began in 1969, which means that we are still a young movement and have accomplished a great deal in such a short amount of time. The generation that fought for us in 1969 deserves our gratitude and respect. This is a generation of amazing people who fought for our ability to hold hands in the street, to speak out against hate, to dance to our own “thumpa thump”, witness television shows with a queer cast, and come together in the streets celebrating for an entire month! This is the generation that opened the doors for us to even have a conversation about gay marriage, and this is the generation that deserves our help and our voices now. On June 27th, 1969, this generation came together in protest, jumping from closets, taking to the streets, and mobilizing in ways this country had never seen before! And what happened? The country was forced to respond. The Queer identity was forced onto the front pages and coffee tables of people’s worlds and people had to once and for all accept that we are human too!
Now, almost 40 years later we NEED to come together again. We need to show this nation that we are ONE LOUD VOICE THAT DEMANDS TO BE HEARD! We need to be one organized unit. Our gay pride shouldn’t be something we celebrate one month out of the year. Our gratitude towards the ones who came before us shouldn’t be ignored and wasted away with one party after another. We beg to be given a right that requires responsibility and commitment, yet we, as one strong community, have not proven to this nation that we deserve to be taken seriously! The gay pride parade has become a great party, but it has lost the memory of Stonewall and therefor given the nation another reason to cast us aside as irresponsible. It’s time we come together for debate, for public recognition, and for LOVE! Let’s move as one full unit, on the same day, at the same hour, and let’s show the United States of America that we too are UNITED CITIZENS EQUAL IN MIND, BODY, SPIRIT AND DESERVING OF FULL EQUALITY UNDER THE LAW!
On the steps of your City Hall on November 15th at 10:30am PST / 1:30pm EST, our community WILL take to the streets and speak out against Proposition 8 and all of the other pro-equality losses that we have faced in our lifetimes, in our parents’ lifetimes, and for many generations before us. WE CAN’T DO THIS ALONE! WE NEED YOUR HELP! We need organizers in every major city to work with us and get out the protest! I know you’re all tired from all of the work you’ve done for this great election year, but I’m asking for one more push! Let the country hear our voices together. Let them see that we are a strong, adamant, and powerful community that deserves equal rights, and CAN’T BE DEFEATED!

Milton Lindgren, 70, and Eric Hendricks, 73, were found dead Monday morning in their home at 9160 Middlebury Way. Police would not say how they were killed or how long their bodies had been inside the home, only that their deaths came by "violent means."
The victims bodies were found inside their home Monday morning by a friend who had't seen or heard from them in two weeks. The bodies were found lying in blood and their heads were battered.
Patrick Beard, a friend of the victims, told 6News' Rick Hightower that he believed the men were targeted.
"I firmly believe it was definitely a hate crime. Milt was 70 and his partner was 73 and to go into someone's home and do something like that, it's just too coincidental," he said.
Police reports show that the men had their phone and cable lines cut twice in the past few months, and that anti-gay statements were posted on their front door.
Investigators said that while they do believe the vandalism was related to Lindgren and Hendricks being gay, that they didn't know if their killings were.
Beard's son, who also knew the victims, said he believes police will eventually reach the same conclusion he and his father have.
"I'm not a genius, but if someone's being harassed like that and fagot gets stamped on their door on a piece of paper, it's not that hard to connect the dots two months later that these two people are brutally killed in their home," Lee Beard said.
The friends said Hendricks was ill and confined to a wheelchair.

DANGEROUS ANTI-PARENTING MEASURE TO APPEAR ON NOVEMBER BALLOT This November, Arkansas voters will decide whether to prohibit unmarried couples from adopting or serving as foster parents. Since gay and lesbian couples are prohibited from marrying in Arkansas, this measure would effectively bar all gay and lesbian couples in the state from adopting or serving as foster parents.
